What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that the sites the user visits send to his terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being retransmitted to the same sites on the next visit to the same user. For this purpose, cookies are categorized here as technical cookies and profiling cookies, depending on the type of use, as well as own cookies or third-party cookies, depending on user use.
Cookie types:
Technical cookies
Technical cookies are used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user, such as a service” (see Article 122(1) of the Privacy Code). Technical cookies are distinguished from navigation or usage cookies (which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website); analytical cookies (similar to cookies where technicians are used directly by the site operator to collect information, in general terms, the number of users and how they visit the site) and functional cookies (allow the user to navigate based on a set of selected criteria, such as language, to improve the service for the same user.
Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are used to send advertising messages in line with the user’s preferences on the web.
Cookies from third parties
Due to the various users who install cookies on the PC and depending on whether it is the same administrator of the website that the user visits or another website that installs the cookies for its own use, a distinction is always made between own cookies and cookies from third parties.

Session cookie (local)
It is a technical cookie with a storage function of the user’s actions within a website. This will be deleted after one year.
Google Analytics (from third parties)

How can cookies be deactivated, deleted or blocked?

Safari:
- Open Safari.
- Select “Settings” in the function list (gray gear wheel in the upper right corner) and click on “Privacy”.
